CHIROPRACTIC: ONE OF THE BEST SMALL BUSINESSES EVER

Have you ever thought of getting out of Chiropractic?

If so, why?

Is it because you’ve been struggling for too long?

Or is it because you are comfortable or doing extremely well, are a little bored, and need a new game to play?

Well before you shut down, sell, or give away your practice, let me share with some observations:

  1. The grass isn’t any greener: No matter what you do, you will most likely feel the same way you do now. The only difference is that what lies ahead of you is more work and a pretty steep learning curve.
  2. Making more money may be good for your ego but it’s far easier to stop caring what other people think right now than it is start something new in the hopes of more money later.
  3. Work is work. So, you don’t want to exchange your time for money? Well, let me tell you first hand, at the end of the day, “work is work”. No matter if you are adjusting a patient, closing a deal, or burning the midnight oil in bed with your laptop, nothing compares to a 3-day weekend with nothing to do other than whatever tickles your fancy at that moment.
  4. In most businesses today, client/customer procurement and cost of goods sold are going up. Most businesses don’t enjoy the profit margins and virtually zero inventory that us D.C.s enjoy.
  5. Your view may be more a reflection of you than Chiropractic. This means that how you view money, time, and people won’t change just by changing careers. It makes a lot more sense questioning your view of reality than it is to change your reality.
  6. What you are going through is normal, make it work for you not against you. Harness this desire to change by reviewing what and how you provide within Chiropractic.
  7. Consider the possibility that you just need to experiment with and create new habits. What can you do to work on your relationships, your health, and your practice? Do one thing positive each day in each of these areas… and don’t be too hard on yourself, even one small thing each day gets you closer to getting “that lov’n feeling” back!

Don’t get out, get in!
